Competitions and Events Manager Wanted

The Tony Blair Sports Foundation is a charity based in the North East of England which seeks to improve the health of the region by investing in local people to inspire them to make the most of themselves through sport.  The key aim is to increase the participation in sport of young people and adults across the North East by increasing the number of trained coaches who are then able to volunteer in local community sports clubs, schools and organisations.

Based in Newcastle the charity is looking to appoint a new member to its small but dynamic team.  We need someone full of enthusiasm, dedication, confidence and passion to get people involved in sport. 

TBSF Competitions and Events Manager

Working as part of a small team, the Competitions and Events Manager will be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery of existing and future Tony Blair Sports Foundation competitions and events and in particular to develop new opportunities in activities which will attract participants to volunteer in coaching and officiating.   The post holder will work closely with local sports clubs, schools and community organisations to identify new opportunities that will inspire young people to get involved in sport.
