TBSF for business provides something for everyone
As part of the Foundation's drive to get the North East ready for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and ensure a sporting legacy afterwards, we are looking to partner with local businesses from across the region to create a legacy that will make the North East a beacon of sporting success for many years to come.
Our corporate membership schemes entitled "Tony Blair Sports Foundation for Business" will see companies encouraging staff to become volunteer sports coaches and officials.
"I have always been passionate about sport and its capacity to change people's lives. It is often the best public health policy and the best way to bring people together. When North East businesses sign up to my Sports Foundation's new scheme, their employees will have the opportunity to volunteer as sports coaches and officials, and in the process they will open up sport to even more young people in their local communities." Tony Blair
There are two TBSF for Business schemes available. Both our 'Friends' scheme and our 'Corporate' scheme are suitable for any business wanting to gain value from CSR activity.
As well as the benefits that come with a sustainable community engagement programme, both schemes offer access to high profile PR, invitations to events and access to best practice groups in the region.
The aim of our TBSF for business schemes is to provide something for everyone and there are many stakeholder benefits to be gained from our schemes:
